Koreans are weird. They like to pick on blind girls and gather themselves into torch-bearing mobs at the drop of a hat. Men call it seduction when they scream in a woman's face as they grab and paw at her. Not only do they find it completely plausible that their neighbors might b... read moree witches, but they encourage their other neighbors to burn down said neighbor's house in order to drive them out of town. So, yadda-yadda, some girls are getting picked on at school and summon a ghost to curse the bullies and of course the whole thing backfires and blows up in their faces (quite literally). While the plot is fairly intricate for this kind of movie, and while it's way better than the korean movie about the killer tree (Acacia), it's still not scary in the least.

Often Teenagers use cult stuff when they have troubles at home at school. Mostly the left out ones. I m not prejuding what I mean to say is that they do very dangerous things and the nearest is the Cult and it begins with Ouija Boards.

    Pulpy, lame, forgettable Korean horror.

Ahn Byeong-Ki is never going to direct anything that tops Phone, which wasn't exactly a prize in itself. Talk about career death.

I loved this one.. although.. whoever wrote the plot for this on here apparently didn't get what was going on.. hmm..

anyway.. I love asian horror for one reason.. it is not just blood and guts (although, they don't shy away from them).. there is more interest in understandi... read moreng WHY a character does what they do.. They don't want you to HATE the "bad guy", they generally make the "bad guy" more understandable than the victims.. This is another one I will add to my ever growing library .. although it may be hard to track down having several names.. It was on On Demand under the name Witchboard.. (I'll still find it though)

I'm a sucker for horror movies. Mainly because they don't scare me. Horror GAMES, however...anyway, this is an Asian horror movie. I was hoping that I would get scared, but I didn't. Maybe I have to watch a Japanese one instead of a Korean one? (No offense!)

All the familiar elements are back in place (the dark-haired ghost girl, the girls-school setting, etc)... but [the] scenario is a jumbled mess that doesn't hold together as a coherent movie. Full Review
