March 29, 2012fb535316333Thirteen returns to the boring/safe formula of every heist film ever without the fresh stylish take or all the character driven chemistry that made the first two so enjoyable. Don't fret though, the comedy is still sharp and set pieces more glamorous than ever but there's just no... read more

Extremely entertaining. You can see that the actors are having a great time on the set, with a few inside jokes within the movie. This movie has vibrant and colorful cinematography that really captures the atmosphere of Las Vegas.

October 27, 2011fb1664868775A good ending to a trilogy of thoroughly enjoyable caper films influenced by Hollywood's golden age.

Third part of the Ocean's Eleven series of crime film is a boring, uninspired awful film that I had to force myself to watch. I almost needed a pot of coffee to keep me awake. I felt that the filmmakers missed the mark on this one, and the result was a film that tried too hard at... read more

This is the third installment of Ocean's heists. Better than the second movie, but not as good as the first. Reuben is tricked out of his fortune. The guys get together to regain his property by doing over Al Pacino's new casino. All the best characters are back. My fave scene is... read more

Better than OCEAN'S TWELVE, and definitely not as pointless, with more tie-in to the original Rat Pack remake, but still can't get to the point of hilarity at which OCEAN'S ELEVEN coolly rests. Pity this just "wasn't [Julia Roberts's and Catherine Zeta-Jones's] fightâ"I personal... read more

Bringing back its all-star cast and returning to the scene of "Eleven", "Thirteen" offers more thrills and fun than either of its modern predecessors. Soderbergh and company seem to have figured out that a Vegas casino makes for a more intriguing, exciting caper film than Europe,... read more

Flat, abstruse, predictable and unable to raise your pulse rate higher than a blip on an EKG. Full Review
An entertaining night out at the movies. Have some popcorn. Full Review
Though it takes a little while before it really takes off, this slick bauble of a movie qualifies as the best of the summer 'threequels" -- at least thus far. Full Review
An exercise in stylish bravado that is as substantial as a catfight between supermodels. Full Review
Something seems to be off when the actors onscreen are having a better time than the audience. Just like the first Ocean's film, this isn't so much a movie as a private party. Full Review
For all its forced twinkle, Ocean's Thirteen leaves you with no real warmth, like a croupier who's just cleaned you out before he wishes you a nice day. Full Review
Ocean's Thirteen is hack Hollywood garbage, the sort of film that thinks so little of its supposedly sure-thing audience that it never breaks a sweat. That's not cool; that's lazy. Full Review
A lightweight but altogether entertaining romp-reunion that seems like nothing more -- or less -- than a do-over for the Steven Soderbergh-George Clooney Gang's ponderous, too-hip-for-the room Ocean's... Full Review
In Hollywood's version of Vegas, I'll have the surf, and the turf, and the vegetarian, and anything else Soderbergh wants to serve me. Full Review
