I donâ(TM)t have anything against Seth Rogen, who is a talented comedian, but I wouldnâ(TM)t recommend this movie to anyone. Maybe if you were high, which they were in the movie. Iâ(TM)m not sure how they took that many drugs and still were able to walk. Also, there was loads of swearing like very unnecessary the amount of swearing that was used.

It is a dark/black comedy for people who don't understand what a dark/black comedy is and have no concept of satire. It fails to parody Taxi Driver which was part of its intention, mainly due to the fact it's not funny (first rule of parody) and secondly because it completely misses the point of what Taxi Driver is (and just for the record, Taxi Driver isn't overrated in my, and many others opinions). Just by claiming the main character is bi-polar does not excuse said character's bad behaviour, I'll bet money that Jody Hill knows very little about the condition. The script is a mess, the story is a mess. This is not the clever black comedy 'with an independent movie feel' that I suspect was the intention, instead, it is one of the most offencive and awful films I have ever seen. Call me a party pooper but I just don't find rape and racism funny. Welcome to my top 10 'Worst films of all time'.

    I love this movie. Gives you a point of view of a seriously mentaly ill person who is given a little bit of power but believes he has way more. Dark Dark comedy not for every one but perfect for me.

    Hilarious movie. I love Seth Rogan & this movie was awesome. I would recommend this movie to any Seth Rogan fan :)

    Though some parts of it were disturbing and out-of-the-blue, the movie is a true black comedy.

    Crude. Somewhat funny. Worth watching if you're doing a survey of the genre. "Mall Cop" is a classier, family-appropriate, heartful knock-off of this flick.

    Awesome movie with one of my favourite actors (Seth Rogen), he thinks is the best cop in the city but is justs a security from a mall, it's super funny the way gets worry with such stupid things, a bit like the character Dwight Schrute played by Rainn Wilson in the TV show The Of... read morefice, I recommended, Anna Faris and Ray Liotta are good in this movie too.

    Seth Rogen as a super mall cop actually grows on you as the movie goes on. The movie cleanly blends character development within its simple plot. Rogen gives some surprising heart to what first seems like a one note character. I also enjoyed Ray Liotta's veteran detective. This ... read moremovie benefits from having a darker tone and humor than Paul Blart: Mall Cop and provides some good laughs . A surprising recommend.

    The movie had some funny scenes/lines but man I really wanted to hit Seth Rogen so many times. For some reason he just really irritates me a lot. The movie is about him, so he was pretty hard to "stay away from"

    This is the first movie with Seth Rogen I have seen. It was rated "For 16 years and older","Violence" and "Sex" ( I know. The rating sytem over here contains spoilers ) So I expected something not too bad.

    At the end Rogen is the hero and fuck the police.

    This movie barely works for me. Seth Rogan is playing a character usually played by Danny McBride and it just feels awkward to me the whole time.

    This movie had it's moments, but the trailer overrates this one a bit. It leaves you thinking there could of been more, but not less either. Liked the Mall Cop movie released earlier in 2009 more, with a simular setting.

    Not Seth's best work but there is however, enough laughs in here to earn this film a 2 out of 5 stars rating. Seth does "Idiot" role quite well as we all know and he is quite the idiot in this film. Would you let him be a part of your Police Precinct?

    I liked the plot and Seth Rogan is extremely cute so it could have been so much better but I didn't like it as much, it wasn't that funny, dark comedy but it was only sad and depressing. The fun part was missing.
