April 12, 2012fb100000185301014Without the nakedness it wouldn't be as entertaining. The numbers were good, loved the simple plot, but I think the nakedness is unnecessary. HOWEVER, the biggest downfall of this... musical is the vulgar humour that is not very funny at all.

If there every was a time when I said "There's 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back" it was after watching Naked Boys Singing. The description here says that it was nominated for Best Musical by a couple of places I had never heard of, but it is quite obvious where the rev... read more

Very entertaining even if it didn't have the nakedness! Worth renting and I don't know if it is worth buying yet.

I would have rather seen a flick about naked boys in sports. Entertainig little film - some of the songs seemed dated to me. Had to give it another half star because of the tight butts. Phong is a sweety.

The songs generally are quite fun, with the contributing stamp of famed comedy writer Bruce Vilanch quite evident. And the strong-voiced performers deliver them in engaging fashion.
It's obviously not for all tastes, but there's going to be an appreciative audience for any musical whose opening number is 'Gratuitous Nudity.' Full Review
In Naked Boys Singing! 10 grown men (including one natural redhead) go full monty while belting out show tunes and high-kicking like muscular Rockettes.
the whole exercise can't help but feel a bit zoological, as if we're watching exotic specimens on display. Full Review
Few of the songs, which range from gleefully raunchy to gratingly sentimental, are truly memorable. Full Review
Naked Boys Singing! is the biggest waste of d**k since Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain. Full Review
A restaged version of the long-running Off-Broadway revue of the same title, Naked Boys Singing delivers exactly what it promises. Full Review
It's an unexpectedly boisterous, giddy show kicking down the taboo of the male body with a collection of toe-tappin' songs and enough full frontal to power 300 consecutive bachelorette parties. Full Review
Handled matter-of-factly, the ubiquitous nudity becomes the norm ... and the music takes the spotlight ... it's here where the show becomes a matter of taste. Full Review
