Incredible...!!! Now I'm officially put Kwak Jae-young as one of my favorite director because I really love 'The Classic' and 'My Sassy Girl'... This movie is brilliant, even it is released 3 years after 'My Sassy Girl', but how Kwak Jae-young made it as it was the prequel for 'M... read morey Sassy Girl', really brilliant... The other great thing is the chemistry shown by Gianna Jun & Jang Hyuk, they two made the worst couple in the world but made every couple in this world jealous too because of their vow to be together forever... It's a really great movie from Kwak Jae-young... Brilliant...!!!

It's sweet but a bit too unrealistic.

another one of my favorite korean love stories. once again, ji-hyun jun plays a spunky character as a no-non-sense cop. the movie has lots of funny scenes, mostly involving the male lead being pushed and kicked around by the female lead. i promise you, when you watch this, you wi... read morell fall in love with the male character! even if the movie had a sad ending, i still loved this film.

The end is way 2 fictitious n melodramatic, but u get 2 cry a few times. There's a scene where Myungwoo is about 2 die n the girl is trying her best 2 save him from drowning, Gianna Jun delivers such a great performance that u can't help it, it's so touching. It's a bit confusing... read more 2, at the end she meets Tae-hyun Cha which is her co-star in her 2001 "My Sassy Girl." Don't know the relation, but it sure was a great movie.

An enjoyably goofy romcom for the first hour then the guy dies and the flick falls off a cliff and should have died but doesn't and instead tries to milk sentimentality from every film genre available. Horrible. The dead guy shows up at the end and says "Go out with this guy" (th... read moree guy from My Sassy Girl) and the girl is all like, "OK." Cheap and Painful.

I ALWAYS weep whenever I rewatch it. It's a sad movie although it's comedically crazy in the beginning.

Well acted and directed, Windstruck transcends from being a funny rom-com to an emotional work... However, that's more because of the cheap sucker-punches that just don't stop. The narrative is also a hdoge-podge of various genres, never feeling like a unified whole.

While superbly acted and emotionally moving, Windstruck takes the pain of a Korean melodrama to the next level. At some point, the movie isn't so much about any particular plot, as it is a study in cheap emotional blows to the face.

Another great movie from the same director of My Sassy Girl. Ji-hyun Jun is a great actress who can make you laugh and cry. Though the ending was a little off from what I was expecting it turned out well with a homage to MSG.

Note: Windstruck is not the prequel to My Sassy Gi... read morerl. Though they have similarities and teases within the movie the storyline is vastly different from My Sassy Girl. Come on now, Ji-hyun Jun's character in Windstruck is an adult cop and while her character in MSG is still in college or just fresh out of one.

OMG, i can say that this is the best korean movie that i have see, i cry like a a baby. It was so sad but it worth every tear. I would recommend watch "my sassy girl" after because this movie is like the begining of the story, although MSG had more popularity i think that this s... read moread and touching movie is way better. Is highly recomend, but just is you dont mind crying fron the half of the movie to the end.
