Not quite as good as the first, but I actually like it a lot more. I think the plot goes a lot better and the characters aren't as cheesy. Sure, it doesn't have Macaulay Culkin, but Austin O'Brien (my favorite kid star of the mid-nineties) fills in nicely and is a lot less pathet... read more

This sequel just tries to make up for the big tear jerker surprise that was the first My Girl film. It takes itself a lot less seriously. But the first is still a better movie despite being pretty damn sad.
