Fairly accurate account of the Mexican-American experience in Los Angeles!! That was my character the military guy, until the "unexpected event" occured... Nice movie to try to understand the Mexican-American point of view on contemporary life!

this movie is absolutely beautiful. i saw it years ago when it came out and it still remains one of the greatest epics in celluloid. if you don't shed tears watching, seek medical attention.....

One of my all time fav films. I reccomend this for everyone to watch, comes with a good story line, and what family really is all about no matter thru ehat hard times your going thru.

I'll add it to my list of favorites. I would never have watched it at all if Scott Bakula hadn't bee in it. But, I'm glad I did.
