A master at seducing and offending women, Tank is a professional. When guys get dumped, they hire Tank to take their ex-girlfriends out on the worst date of their lives an experience so horrible it sends them running back to their ex's.An outrageous,(at times) sexy, no-holds-... read more

I can't say that this movie was amazing for story line or anything but I laughed my ass off almost the whole movie. It's basically like a male alternative to a "chick flick". Year it's rude and crude but.... IT"S DANE COOK! if you went in thinking that it would be anything less t... read more

Dane Cook continues his streak of fecal-like films, still hitless, inept to transform his cock dick stand-up humor into a good comedy. One dimensional premise, a Jason Biggs mainstay. Kate Hudson is like a double glazed chicken crisper.

Crude, lewd, rude and very, very, very, very funny!
Of course, there are some genuinely funny moments in this romantic comedy film, largely thanks to Dana Cook, who has the 'cocky charmer' thing completely down. These women who dated Cook keep calling him an asshole so doe... read more -

my best friends girl: not terrible movie, but far from great. And you should probably be worried about yourself if you find Dane's character likeable, because he plays an even bigger asshole than he is in real life. that must have been something to accomplish. so points for the ... read more

Funnier than I expected! Considering I'd never heard a single word about this, I instantly assumed it'd be nothing special. You know, the kind of movie you just see because you got nothing better to do, as opposed to looking forward to watching. But as much as it surprised me, it... read more

A rude, crude romantic comedy with a touch of nastiness that's refreshing and quite funny.

Better than expected for a no brainer comedy. Some genuinely funny bits in it. Some not so great too. Dane Cook is not that appealing as a lead, even when he's not being deliberately vile and Kate Hudson is really pushing the hot female status too, although I don't actually min... read more

The inexplicable romantic comedy career of Dane Cook marches on. Full Review
There are no surprises here, but speedy pacing and a smattering of laughs along the way, as well as a knowing turn by Alec Baldwin as Tank's even more piggish father, make My Best Friend's Girl a date...
Ultimately, its most unforgivable sin is that it's simply not funny. Full Review
An ugly, strictly-for-meatheads comedy that can only be recommended to couples who wear matching Tie Domi Toronto Maple Leafs jerseys out on a date. Full Review
It borrows from much funnier movies such as Hitch, Wedding Crashers and My Best Friend's Wedding. Never has a romantic comedy seemed less romantic or less comedic. Full Review
Eventually the conventions of romantic comedy take hold, with the humor declining precipitously.
Cook is most amusing while emphasizing his sardonic edginess, a trait that may eventually serve him well in some anti-heroic (or downright villainous) dramatic role. Better still, he establishes an ef... Full Review
My Best Friend's Girl isn't just a misfire; it's a misfire compounded by a chain of miscalculations, and it's hard to figure out who this could appeal to (except, perhaps, Dane Cook's fan club). Full Review
The actors (especially Alec Baldwin, as Tank's horndog dad) elevate the material slightly, but such piffle will just fill you with longing... for a better movie. Full Review
