This quiet charmer of a piece by Lawrence Kasdan posits, like the old Bacherach number suggests, " what the world needs now is love, sweet love". Loren Dean is perfectly cast as the unassuming and sedate soul prepared to hear whatever it is one might have to say ... only who is h... read more

Mumford is a movie full of insightful moments, and some of them are even pure therapy. Full Review
The film is quite well acted, notably by Dean. Full Review
It turns the tricks of psychology into duplicitous high play. Full Review
Hope Davis deserves much of credit for making Mumford work.
Mumford doesn't go very far or deep in detailing our impostor's road to redemption. Full Review
It's witty, entertaining, often funny as hell and even, at times, surprisingly wise about the human condition.
Director Lawrence Kasdan's Mumford blends likable characters with a humorous, gentle look at small town life. Full Review
