In the meantime, Raj has kept in touch with his childhood friend, Pooja (Rani Mukherji), who still resides in India. Over those 15 years, Raj reveals to Pooja that he had fallen in love with her sister, Tina (Kareena Kapoor), before leaving India and via his communications with Tina. Pooja, it turns out, was the true author of those messages in a bid to spare her friend's feelings for a deeply ambivalent Tina -- and Pooja has subsequently fallen in love with Raj in the process. As Raj makes a return visit home to India, he spends as much time with Tina as he can allow and Pooja is forced to sit by and watch in silence. After Raj returns to London, however, Pooja decides to follow him. When the two meet, the truth is revealed and Pooja and Raj decide to marry. They return to India to announce their engagement, but find her father had recently died. Further complicating matters, Raj's father is determined to keep the vow he made to Pooja and Tina's father of marrying his son to Tina. The young lovers are forced to find a solution to their problem quickly before Raj is married to Tina and irretrievably lost to Pooja.     So fun! I felt like I was watching a dramatic Spanish soap opera. Great music and costumes. Good acting... (and a little over-acting, but hey, that's Bollywood!) The dude in this movie had six fingers and it creeped me out a little bit.

    Here's a fantastic movie that follows love, friendship, commitment, and family. Raj, Pooja, and Tina are three close friends. Their bond resulted from childhood, but for Raj its always been love for Tina. As young Raj and his family prepare to leave for the U.K., he promises to a... read morelways love, and write to, Tina. As an endearing correspondence develops, he doesn't realize that it is Pooja that he is actually writing to. He comes home, and realizes that Tina isn't the same person that he loved for the past fifteen years. As realization sets, Tina has only abundant beauty and Pooja has eveything that he needs and desires. Great cast- Rani Mukherjee, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, and Uday Chopra. Definitely worth seeing!

    I luv this movie.It was the best movie i ever seen with Rani,Hrithik and Kareena.

    I love the songs and the actor so much.I luv Rani and Hrithikin the movie.

    Sweet, I love Rani as Pooja, but got really annoyed with the single-dimensionalness of the Tina character. Still, not bad
