It's fun because it's Hogan...And that's it. Otherwise...Not so good movie. But hey....Hollywood's in the house
  • March 22, 2008
Hulk Hogan shows his softer side with less than hilarious consequences. Should be buried in a hole and forgotten about. See this if you liked The Pacifier or Kindergarden Cop... then go and hang yourself.

If you haven't seen this movie, you ought to. It is laugh-out-loud hilarious...

Hulk Hogan is no Anthony Hopkins, but he is likable on screen. He made this comedy babysitting film unfunny gags.

    goofy but entertaining kids movie

Hulk Hogan in a pink tutu. Just plain wrong.
  • June 24, 2008
Mr. Nanny is as unwatchable as a Hogan movies get. Hulk showed with the case of his son though that he just cares about money. I mean Nick's friend is crippled and he's just talking about making his son money with a reality show. Hopefully that show makes Nick about as much money... read more as this movie got his father lol.

A former wrestler with bad dreams, Sean Armstrong (Terry "Hulk" Hogan) is roped into a bodyguard job only because his old friend Burt (Sherman Hemsley) begs him to. But upon meeting Mr. Mason (Austin Pendleton), the inventor he'll be working for, Sean discovers that he's being as... read moresigned to guard Mason's two bratty children, Alex and Kate (Robert Hy Gorman, Madeline Zima), who go through nannies faster than ... well, pretty fast. Meanwhile, a psychotic "genius" (David Johansen) is stalking Mr. Mason, and is after a valuable microchip he has developed. If there are any movies that are hated for simply existing, it would be the ones that Hulk Hogan has starred in. Just to get any so-obvious-no-one-could-ever-have-them misconceptions out of the way, this is not an exceptionally made movie. It certainly doesn't shoot for any Oscars, and things hit near fatal lameness levels when the bad guy tries to head butt everything. However, this is a family comedy that happens to work, even despite the cheese factor, and probably slightly because of it. The message is muddled and too cuddly, but the humor succeeds, even when it has nothing better to do than poke fun at Hogan, using the traditional over the top pranks by the kids.

Hulk Hogan is the shittiest actor of all time but this movie is so bad it's funny. You got to see this at least once in your life. It's a good bad movie!

This is a flash back to my childhood. Pretty sure this will be horrible if I watch it now as an adult, but when you're a kid it is high fun!

No one goes to see a Hulk Hogan movie for cutting-edge moviemaking, and Mr. Nanny will be no exception. Full Review

One of the most monstrously agonizing motion pictures to come along this year. By comparison, Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot is actually watchable. Full Review

In its cynical blending of children, superstar, guns and comedy, Kindergarten Cop was execrable, but it was slick. Mr. Nanny isn't slick, it's sticky. Full Review

[Hogan] doesn't take himself too seriously either, which could prove his downfall - that and excruciating movies like this. Full Review

It's too back that wrestling icon Hulk Hogan didn't know how to apply a choke hold to this lethargic and lightweight romp. An unintentional and embarrassing misstep

When the lasting image of Mr. Nanny is Hulk Hogan in a tutu, it's not a pleasant thought. Full Review
