Director Alan Rudolph's eccentric style brings some interest to a fairly routine story. Although Demi Moore has a creditable stab at the heroine, it's Glenne Headly who steals the show.

This movie is full of twists and turns. It is shot in flashbacks but in such a way you forget the events have already happened.

Worth watching just to see the fire between Demi Moore and Bruce Willis when they were married. It was obvious they hated each other to the point of homicide. Their acting in this film llustrates this.
Critic Reviews
Willis makes a convincing villain
An unusually tough and daring film for both Willis and Moore.
Not-half-bad murder-thriller potboiler.
