Follow up to the reasonable effort that didn't to do badly apon release and managed to thrash JCVD and 'Street Fighter'. This isn't too far from the first film really in terms of layout and fights, nothing too spectacular and not well acted, more pantomime than cinema, but like t... read more

I feel like I stepped into a really bad Power Rangers episode made by 2 6 year olds. This movie has little to no redeeming qualities, and one a bad scale, is right up there with Eragon (And Eragon was HORRIBLE)
Let's talk about the special affects. See line #1 of my review. Th... read more -

Awesome fight scenes with MK characters. Acting and effects were probably terrible but when I was 11, this owned everything.

Even more horrendous than the first, this can't even be enjoyed on a guilty pleasure level. The acting is even worse and all the rewarding elements of the first are taken away. All that is left is a talentless cast and director, even the effects look like TV quality. I have no id... read more

Critic Reviews
Pic consists largely of choppily edited fight scenes (usually involving somersaults and back flips) combined with various computer graphic effects. Full Review
A little more work is required, for instance, on four-arm technology. Full Review
Quite serious, charmless and critic-proof. Full Review
There's a kind of grand awfulness about it.
Its dazzling special effects make its combatants flip and fly, spin and soar, all the while punching and kicking each other like jackhammers, only to leave viewers utterly unmoved. Full Review
It's just an excuse for a series of tedious, repetitious fight scenes that have been staged with no hint whatsoever of originality. Full Review
Here's the lowdown on the latest chapter in Mortal Kombat: deadly dull. Full Review
I'll give it this - Mortal Kombat: Annihilation is hilarious. Sadly, not intentionally so. Full Review
This tedious hodgepodge of martial-arts mayhem, bogus mysticism and computer-generated special effects doesn't even pretend to have a plot. Full Review
