The start of this film is really shaky, its unfunny, looks dull and the plot zips along too fast, blink and you miss the whole film concept.
Luckily it morphs into another brilliant Dreamworks animated flick, at first the characters don't really appeal and they kinda look a bit ... read more -

Enjoyable, though not very inventive computer animated adventure for all ages. Adults should have the most fun with the many movie references from the Sci-ci genre, kids will enjoy the lovable characters. While the movie is entertaining and fun at all times, it's not exactly pack... read more

A fun enough animation comedy from Pixar. It's not quite up there with some of their greats, but still entertaining for younger kids.

This one just did not register with me! Entertaining, but just not much more for me.

The films storyline doesn't go deep but it is full of action and it's visually stunning. The voice acting is ok but to be honest I never found the film hilarious but it had enough moments to entertain me.

The characters are likable and the dialog is sometimes funny, but this film is severely lacking especially in original content.

Hilarious and smart, but couldve had a better and more interesting story. The characters were well thought out and cool. The plot was kind of worthless and disappointing. The animation was good, but ive seen better. The comedy was very funny, I laughed a lot.

A promising concept which doesn't deliver as fully as hoped. Full review later.

Monsters Vs Aliens made me feel like a big kid again. Full Review
As I took off my gray-lensed 3-D spectacles at the end of Monsters vs. Aliens, I felt not so much immersed as fuzzy with exhaustion. Full Review
It's an affectionate, fairly funny riff on 1950s sci-fi movies, which often featured aliens, sometimes in the form of gelatinous glop, trying to take over Earth before earthlings, usually of the milit... Full Review
At the altar... Susan sprouts to just under 50 feet tall, taking out the church roof and steeple in the process. Next time, raise higher the roof beam, carpenters. Full Review
I don't think there are any characters here that a child would love. Full Review
Heavily touted as an industry breakthrough for 3-D, DreamWorks Animation's clunky and wildly unimaginative Monsters vs. Aliens really doesn't have a clue what to do with the technique. Full Review
The 3-D animation, occasional gross-out jokes and way-cool beasties and robots play to every 10-year-old, chronological or just in spirit. Full Review
True, the story doesn't amount to much, but the plot tends to take a back seat when you've got a not-quite-50-foot version of Reese Witherspoon duking it out with a mighty alien robot alongside the Go... Full Review
Shooting a chaotic action scene in an extra dimension definitely adds to the clutter, but does zilch to subtract from the tedium. Full Review
