A very quirky and funny movie. It's creative take on the trite story of how a man meets a woman was really commendable and the cast, even the child actors, worked very well with one another.

All I remember is I was a horny teen boy when this came out so I was all about getting Melanie Griffith naked.

This a wonderful coming of age story. It's about a boy and his two friends who while exploring the opposite sex they meet this stripper who sort of gets them involved in her mess of a life.
Critic Reviews
With a tip of the hat to the performers, this is a misguided comedy with Hall of Shame pedigree. Its commercial prospects are quick, down and dirty. Full Review
Richard Benjamin, laboring under the idea that this is an enchanting premise, directs such episodes as if he were Norman Rockwell in a trenchcoat. Full Review
Some movies just don't know when enough is enough. Full Review
A preposterous movie about a boy, a babe and a car, all of them functioning minimally in what is essentially a showcase for Melanie Griffith's body. Full Review
Question: Will Hollywood ever retire the Hooker With a Heart of Gold? Full Review
I don't want to spoil it for you, but let's just say the gangster doesn't get what he wants, and true love saves the day. Full Review
Smuttiness is made coy; innocence is made dirty; boyhood sexuality is made into a cartoon. Full Review
This execrable film sinks ever lower as its dirty joke of a plot unfolds. Full Review
This feelgood romantic comedy is short on laughs, sexual chemistry, and the thriller subplot won't produce any white knuckles. Full Review
