Ace Ventura, The Mask, Dumb and Dumber. All the comedies with Jim pre to Me, Myself and Irene, were all masterpieces. This was unexpectedly crude and certainly not the best but it was also Jim's best physical performance in terms of his reputation as being "the man of a thousand ... read more

Finally, after 3 attempts at watching this film I made it to the end. It wasn't worth it, in fact I feel angry at about the time I wasted. It's not in my top 10 worst films of all time but it's definitely in the teens. Very much not my kind of film.

Me, Myself & Irene is one of the finest films directed by the Farrelly Brothers. For me, this is Jim Carrey's last funny film. After this film he started going off the deep end, and made a couple of really bad films. But this is a fine Swan song to a good comedic actor. The humou... read more

Has a lot of funny moments but I'm not really into the schizo plot or the Lebowski-esque narration.

This is one of my favorite movies from the Farrelly brothers movies that is a great original premise. It is one of my favorite performances from Jim Carrey, Hank is one of the most priceless characters. For a raunchy comedy it was extremely well tamed.

Critic Reviews
As highly talented as Carrey is, he can't make these abrupt physical and mental transitions the least bit convincing.
Works because it does its job of making viewers laugh. Full Review
Carrey himself provides the biggest flash from a major star since Rudolf Nureyev in Valentino. Full Review
The Farrelly brothers have been dumb and they've been dumber, and Me, Myself & Irene definitely falls into the second category. Full Review
It's now time to reassure the Carrey crowd that their hero remains an inspired physical comedian. Full Review
Shifts unsteadily between slow-moving, gauzy focus romance and 'transgressive' gross-out comedy. Full Review
It's too bad, then, that Me, Myself & Irene is clueless when it comes to constructing a plot with which to thread the powerful jokes. Full Review
Carrey, with his Silly Putty face and herky-jerky body, scores an ace.
