Max Keeble: We're moving?!
There is nothing special or memorable about 'Max Keeble's Big Move', except maybe a few light-hearted moments and a few funny jokes, but that's about it. This will most likely please kids between 5-10, but if your older, stay far away. The acting is a ... read more -

Why does Disney punish themselves by making so many live actions? I'll admit I like Haunted Mansion, but there weren't many other good Disney live action films. Country Bears? No. Shaggy Dog remake? No. Bedtime Stories? No. The Gameplan. NO! High School Musical? NONONONONO!!!! Bu... read more

For sure a movie for kids. Does show you that you shouldn't burn bridges though.

June 4, 2011fb1619601747Max Keeble should've been a few years older, the movie would've appealed to a much larger audience. Although I think they were targeting the unfortunately titled 'pre-teens.' Decent kids movie.

This is a cute one as well, but it is also cheesey. It is such a good story for kids in school and it was realistic, but at the same time was over the top at parts. All kids between the ages of 10 and 13 should for sure watch it, but others should as well.
Critic Reviews
Exactly which children Disney hopes to captivate with Keeble's Big Movea little unclear. Full Review
Bland, occasionally funny Disney comedy about a wayward seventh-grader.
If there's no way to avoid seeing Keeble's Big Move, take along a book, ideally a hefty one. With the proper arm speed and angle of release, you can probably nail the projectionist. Full Review
Children may enjoy its food fights, barf gags, slimy gross-outs, kid-power fantasies and adults' comic discomfiture, but there's not much here for anyone over 12. Full Review
It's as ugly and stupid as the kid is cute and resourceful. Full Review
This amusingly stylized comedy can be savored as a wholesomely sadistic treat. Full Review
Given the scarcity of kid-appropriate fare in the marketplace these days, the feeble Keeble will probably move more tickets than it ought to, but it will never be mistaken for a keeper.
This clunky juvenile comedy lurches among multiple story lines without fully realizing the comic potential of any. Full Review
There's little invention here to disguise the film's formulaic nature. Full Review
