That Michael Landon's son directs this should not be surprising. It definitely has the feel of Little House on the Prarie. Not a bad movie, it's predictable, and the acting is decent all around.
everyone of theese movies in this series will warm your heart and touch you some way .if you like westerns its a must see
A beautiful book, a cherihed film. The charecters and plot may not've followed to the letter, but it wwas all in all a great insperation of the book.

I'm a big Katherine Heigl fan. The book is great and the movie actually follows the storyline of the book.
While not quite like the book by Janette Oke, this movie is a sweet story about a bride who comes west only to become a widow and then wife of a man she hardly knows. I really enjoyed this film.
The film's pace is abysmal like too little grass spread across too much lawn. Full Review
