This is one of my favorite movies! Sanaa Lathan & Omar Epps are excellent actors! This is a movie I could watch again & again. Beautiful story of two people who were meant to be together. So sweet & touching. :-)

The second half of the film struggles to hold par with the first, but Love & Basketball is a film that will resonate with anyone who's been in love, on the court or off.

Pretty sensual scene that went a little too far for a PG-13 and some pretty raw dialogue.....man you can never trust these ratings, I don't know how they figure out what rating they give. Anyway I did enjoy the relationships, acting and storyline pretty well and a happy ending.

I thought this movie was pretty awesome circa eighth grade. The leads are talented actors, and their chemistry is, well, hot.

My wife loves this movie and I have sat through it twice, but I really do not care for it. Its just so cheesy and unremarkable. Not one of Omar Epps' better performances.

Classic Sub Urban Love story that doesn't really have the traditional "Happy Ending". I think this is what made me like this movie. It was real.

The humor is terrific, the cinematography has a burnished glow, and the score is lush. Full Review
This one has crossover hit written all over it. Full Review
It's in the small touches that this movie comes alive, and it's rare that directors can pull off this kind of thing. Full Review
Love and Basketball offers a rare gimpse into the life of female athletes, and Lathan's got all the right moves.
Has more than enough charm, skilled performances and appealing characters to score when it has to. Full Review
