This is a remake of two classics, Love Affair (1939) and An Affair to Remember (1958). This version is the worst of the three versions, but it's not a bad film. Still, it pales compared to the two classic versions. Annette Bening does a good job, but Warren Beatty just doesn't se... read more

Where else can you hear Kate Hepburn say the "F" word?
So sad this is Hepburn's last performance.
This is one love affair not worth remembering...tepid and unsure of its slow-witted pacing. It's any wonder that Beatty and Bening didn't hinder their real life relationship with this lovey-dovey tripe
Almost redeemed by its beautiful cinematography and Katharine Hepburns' cameo.
Not as bad as rumored, but go for the 1957 or better yet 1939 version.
Too slow, both leads seem self-conscious.
Love Affair is unapologetically sappy, but its old-school humility provides a lot of its considerable charm. Full Review
