Fate brings a childless couple a bundle of joy -- who happens to have a criminal record -- in this comedy directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans. One of reasons Calvin is able to get inside secure areas is his size -- Calvin is dwarf who stands less than two feet tall, and can slip in unnoticed where more conventionally sized people would not. While Calvin is able to get the diamond, he's nearly caught by the police while making his getaway, and stashes the jewel in a bag carried by a passerby. Eager to recover the diamond from the unwitting accomplice, Calvin and Percy figure out a way to get into his house -- they dress Calvin up as a baby, and leave him on the doorstep of the passerby's home. As it happens, the couple who live there (Shawn Wayans and Kerry Washington) have been wanting to have a baby, and they eagerly take the new arrival under their wing, embracing the joys of parenthood while ignoring some of the toddler's unusual behavior. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

Big things come in small packages.

Saw it again! Very funny movie. The movie is hilarious and with an easy to follow story that even kids can follow even though I wouldn't recommend this movie for kids. Nice cast, the Wayans almost always bring extreme comedy to the table, keep ... read moreit up!

After leaving the prison, the dwarf criminal Calvin Sims joins to his moron brother Percy to steal an expensive huge diamond in a jewelry for the mobster Walken. They are chased by the police, and Calvin hides the stone in the purse of the executive Vanessa Edwards, whose husband Darryl Edwards wants to have a baby. Percy convinces Calvin to dress like a baby and be left in front of the Edwards's house to get inside the house and retrieve the diamond. Darryl and Vanessa keep Calvin for the weekend and decide to adopt him, while Walken threatens Darryl to get the stone back.

A few funny moments cant make up for how sick and twisted this crap was. The movie itself was a flop, and im proud to say that.

This was recommended by my bf. He thought I'd like this but I just burst his balloon with an indifferent look free smileys after watch... read moreing this (imagine how straight was my lips). They tried really hard to make it in "hilarious" list but some people are not born with a good "sense of humor". I couldn't find a funny part in this movie. Maybe some scenes(?) made me smile (which was almost invisible). But overall this movie itself was a joke. And I don't think that Calvin Sims (Marlon Wayans) looked like a baby at all. I mean just look at him! Anyway, I didn't knew that Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans are brothers. But if they really want to be successful, I think they should think before what they choose. Don't recommend this at all. Just watch at your own risk.

Man, thought this was going to be a riot of laughs when I saw the previews, but it was a disappointment. It had its moments, but overall? No, just worth watching once.

This movie is one of those flicks that you either "love it" or "hate it". There is no in between. Personally for me, I loved it.

Positives: It's pretty funny, wayans brothers are always good, a new concept that we have not seen in previous movies, and what I liked about it the... read more most is the movie took risk - it had balls when it came to cracking certain jokes that some people might just get psised off at.

Negatives: Maron Wayans really does not look that cool or believable as a baby and it's obvious that no one would ever think that, as well as some dry jokes that we have seen a thousand times, and a horrible part about the "baby" sneaking in bed and doing the dudes wife. Doubt she wouldnt of noticed! And even worse, how they end up being friends in the end is beyond me. Think he would of figured that one out.

Overall I could of done without some repeat jokes, I could of done without the sex scene, and I could of done without the ending segment where she has a baby that looks just like him. Had the movie left all of that out and stuck to it's normal roots and big balls that was the rest of this movie then it would of been five stars. It's not perfect but it's still a great watch though, four stars.
