I really... really hoped this movie will be a great movie... Especially I started to like Brittany Murphy because she's could be the next America's Young Sweetheart u know... But the star in this movie isn't her, but Holly Hunter... I think she's saved this movie... Even the idea... read more

Brittany Murphy was quite funny in this comedy film, but Holly Hunter was the best one since "Broadcast News".

I really like Brittany Murphy and this was the first comedy she was in that I thought was funny and original.

It is this type of chick flick that turn off guys to the entire genre. Not funny, stupid plot, Murphy's character was annoying and paranoid (and we are supposed to find that cute and charming?) and the entire movie was just boring.

I was sad during the viewing of this movie because it reminded me of how sad it was to loose Britney Murphy who I thought was very very good in the movie and made me realize we lost someone who would have been a great asset to film making. Holly Hunter was exceptional as usual b... read more

It's no fun to side with Murphy's mean-spirited paranoiac, so we're soon rooting for the gynecologist to uncover a venereal disease, or for the chef to whip up some salmonella, or even for that Palm c... Full Review
It's not well scripted enough or well acted enough to do much of anything, save make anyone watching really hate Brittany Murphy for being so annoying and so incredibly unlikely as a cute twenty-somet... Full Review
If you think it's worth it to sit there for 97 minutes for three or possibly four laughs, then you are beyond help. Full Review
If it's hard to like the message and the characters in this movie, it's even harder to like the acting, though the casting is strong. Full Review
An awkward and aggressively unfunny film. Full Review
Treat this sucker like the actors should have done when they read the script: Kick it to the curb.
One of those annoyingly coy romantic comedies in which people try to improve their relationships by deceiving and investigating each other. Full Review
All Little Black Book offers is a pileup of sitcom scenarios overlaid with annoyingly glib narration, à la Sex and the City. Full Review
The jaw-droppingly nasty second act is intriguing, but it veers into territory so dark that it sucks the air out of the bouncy chick flick that surrounds it, making for one confused -- and confusing -...
