I was recommended to watch this by a friend who had studied the book. I didn't really like it despite knowing so much about the main storyline (or perhaps because of it). I couldn't really get past how much of a stone-cold bitch the mother was, and I didn't really like the ending... read more

Atmospheric but watery romantic melodrama
A funny, touching, sumptuous, and incredibly romantic ode to the joys of love and food. Full Review
Good food metaphors and solid romantic story.
Celebrates in most unsual and impressive ways both the magic and the mystery of love. Full Review
"sensual and constantly surprising"
