    Dreyfuss enjoyed some unprecedented success in the mid 1980s after Always. Why anyone thought he be a good comedic lead actor is flabbergasting to me. The man is a good dramatic actor who can play seriously disturbed characters well. Not generic down-on-their luck losers. They sh... read moreould've saved this role for Nick Nolte or Martin Short.

    A fun film for me but the plotline is a little weak. Mixed in with a few better films, this might entertain the crowd. See it if you feel like a cute film about gambling...
