You can guess by the title of the film that this "film takes place in outer space. This film sucked. I only watched this series so I could see how bad these films were, well, I got more than I bargained for. There's only one film that worked in the "space" genre, and that's Hellr... read moreaiser: Bloodline. However, this film was a total miss. At least the Hellraiser in space idea was a good one. The story was original for that one, and it was pretty creative. However this isn't the case with this one. For this series, it's clear that the filmmakers didn't care about putting the Leprechaun in the most absurd situations. Of course it's meant to be good, cheesy fun. But I've seen so much better than this. Leprechaun i4 suffers from all the usual elements that this film such a poorly thought out film. Don't get me wrong, I love cheesy horror, but with this series, something really doesn't fit. The film is poorly made, and it's a mess from start to finish. The only good part about the film is the end credits. I don't understand how a studio would finance such a horrid film. This is a film that misses the mark, and really plainly stupid. As if that's a big surprise with a series of a killer leprechaun. The film like all the other in the series are purely bad, and like I said, I don't understand why these films were made, not to mention why people would watch them. I on the other, I guess was mildly curious about the series, and do enjoy a good silly flick, but this one just sucks.

I don't know why Leprechaun is in space. Nor do I care. What I do care about is how wonderfully deranged the film is. Alien princesses, cross-dressing, and an alien spider man thingy. It doesn't really feel like a Leprechaun film, the Leprechaun is quite toned down. He doesn't ev... read moreen rhyme a lot here. Nobody seems to question the absurdity of a killer leprechaun in this film. perhaps it's just become that common. The effects are alright for the cheap piece of rubbish this is. Also it has DeeJay from Streetfighter. WORD!

I think I saw this one. Pretty sure warwick davis comes out of a guys crotch when he's about to get some. That gets it a free star.

Pinhead and Jason did it, so why not the Leprechaun (Warwick Davis). There are nods to the Alien movies and Star Wars, but it creates its own legacy, as a comedy space horror b-movie with a killer Leprechaun. There are some cheesy plots about a space princess, young recruits, a g... read moreiant Leprechaun, and a mad scientist with gooey genetic experiments. There are enough weird deaths and action to fill in the movie nicely. It's cornier than I expected.

Films like this make you wonder one thing - how could people be so moronic to waste their time and money in producing garbage like this and then promote it with the title of being a 'movie'. This is the definition of how everything in a movie can go wrong, no matter what the reas... read moreons for making said film are. Who cares if this was meant to be cheesy fun, it's deplorable nature makes even the most drugged up of people cringe in awkwardness. Easily one of the worst movies ever made.

....I'm not even going to start with this one.

"Leprechaun 4: In Space" is as ridiculous as it sounds. The acting is horrible, the visual and special effects are really poor, and the story itself is cliched and boring. It's comparable to "Jason X," but I'm not sure either of them are any good--but they're both good for laughs... read more. Overall, if you have some time to waste and you're looking for a really stupid B movie. This is a fine pick.

i dont know why i am rating this so high, but i enjoy watching it over and over again for some reason
  • January 5, 2010
This movie shocked me for two reasons. 1) I didn't know there was a 4th in the franchise. 2) It was in SPACE! To me, this movie was like The Phantom Planet (1968) meets Go (1999) meets Jason X (2001). Trifecta of...perfection. This movie had something for everybody. Alien royalty... read more, mild cross-dressing, a futuristic dance club, cock-blocking via Leprechaun and a partially metallic skull.
