Retro 70's feel to this twisty thriller from a variety of perspectives. Frank violence and isolated individuals lends to the sense of unease. Bad luck and unhappy trapped people makes a combustible mix. The director is one to watch.
"La Noche de los Girasoles" (The Night of the Sunflowers) is an excellent Spanish thriller; very credible about the psychological and moral barriers all we have in an extreme situation ever possible that is neatly scripted and acted by a perfectly cast.
Highly recommended!!!
