February 8, 2009fb20312798Deserves it's classic status. Not only it is funnier than the more well known American remake (The Birdcage) but it is just a better movie in my opinion. One of the first films that shows homosexuals as real people and suffer from the same problems that heterosexual couples do.

June 21, 2007I was a little disappointed by the quality fo this production in comparision to the musical that hit Broadway. If you want a musical, this is not the movie for you...but this movie does showcase a moving story nonetheless. This is worth seeing once, but that's about ti in my book...
