May 13, 2012fb1378820053A Bigger and Better sequel to the Highly Successful "Kung Fu Panda" whilst Kung Fu Panda is technically a better film than the Original it really drags on most of the jokes from the first film and at times becomes painfully unfunny, but Kung Fu Panda offers great Animation sequen... read more

Kung Fu Panda 2's technical charms are undeniable. There's a priority placed on razzle dazzle spectacle and there are lots of battles. The narrative is highlighted by cluttered action scenes that have the emotional depth of a video game. To that end, young children should find th... read more

The comedy did not work for me 90% of the time. I understand that it's a kid's movie, but Pixar manages to please the adults and the children. The action was not memorable (see Tranformers 2 and you'll see what I mean). However, despite all this, the message and theme of the movi... read more

I loved Kung Fu Panda 2. It's one of the few sequels i've seen that have beaten the orginal. It has even more action then the first film, it's funnier, the animation is so much better and I really loved it's darker story and look and even if it was dark I was amazed how it could ... read more

While I don't actively seek out this franchise, I do find it enjoyable. The animation is usually top-notch and I am always surprised at how creative the combat is and how they choreograph the battles as a whole. And although it can be a bit annoying after a while, watching Jack B... read more

A very fun movie for all ages. It continues Po's journey to becoming a true dragon warrior and has him trying to get inner peace. The animation is spectacular and the voice acting is great! (Gary Oldman is just awesome as the evil Peacock named Shen.) I like this movie much more ... read more

Surprisingly wonderful film, with brilliant animation, good action scenes, a wonderful vocal performance by Gary Oldman, and a good message about non-traditional families.
Also... Van Damme! -

Jennifer Yuh brings amusement and relaxation in a worthy sequel known as Kung Fu Panda 2.
The plot, while not even reaching 90 minutes, lacks a whole lot of sophistication, yet delivers enough of a story from start to finish. The humor is light and geared toward a young

Hardly a scene goes by that isn't visually striking or kinetically thrilling, and all of it enhanced by 3-D. Full Review
Po and friends redeem themselves with a terrific third act, the animation (in three distinct styles) is superb and there's enough hiii-YA-ing to keep the kids yipping throughout. Full Review
The film's visuals are thrilling, beguiling, vivid: the greens of a glade or a terraced hillside; the molten reds of Shen's smelting works or yellow-orange arcs of fireworks. Full Review
No, we're not talking about Lord Voldemort and Harry Potter, although it does feel that way early on in the animated Kung Fu Panda 2. Full Review
Alas, this time there are about three or four mild laughs in the whole picture, and the entire visual aspect of the movie is a botched disappointment. Full Review
Has a bright palette, an amiable vibe and enough vivacity to keep kids entertained and any accompanying moms from bolting for Bridesmaids. Full Review
For a movie touting "inner peace," this 3-D sequel sure goes in for its share of battle scenes, but for the most part they are excitingly conceived by director Jennifer Yuh Nelson and her writers, Jon... Full Review
The freshness and novelty that made the original film such a kick back in 2008 has been, well, kicked to bits. Full Review
The kinder, gentler Kung Fu Panda 2 will surely try the patience of older children and fun-seeking parents. Full Review
