The birth of "hip-hop". Like watching old home movies and cringing over the outdated clothes and hair styles. Fun performaces from some of the original rap/hip-hop artisits, when the genre was still light hearted and enjoyable.

Krush Groove is a documentary not filmed like a documentary. Whoever wrote the synopsis is an idiot for not realizing this, and probably listens to today's dumbshit hip-hop.

good movie with all the old school rappers and performers, such as run dmc , kurtis blow and of course Sheila E . also featuring a fantastic cameo of LL COOL J . good soundtrack , entertaining. captures the times.

A thinly veiled account of how Rick Rubin and Russell Simmons formed Def Jam Records. RUN DMC were at the top of their game here, and it's fun to see a pre-buff LL Cool J.
