Krishna's (Hrithik Roshan) father, Rohit Mehra, was a man blessed with powerful supernatural abilities, and now that legacy has been passed on to the next generation. When Krishna is beckoned to Singapore by his one true love, Priya (Priyanka Chopra), he is troubled to discover that a megalomaniac scientist by the name of Dr. Siddhant Arya (Naseeruddin Shah) has set into motion a nefarious plan that will forever alter the fate of humankind. Now, with destruction on the horizon and his true love calling, Krishna must assume the role of Krrish and put a halt to Dr. Arya's plans before the whole world suffers at the whim of a maniacal genius. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Here's a great follow-up to Koi...Mil Gaya (I Found Someone). It follows the Mehra family several years after, in which Sonia is now raising her grandson, Krishna (the son of Rohit and Nisha) all alone. Krishna has inherited his father's supernatural powers, and Sonia decides to ... read morehide that from the world so she takes him away to a remote location. It is there that Krishna meets Priya, a young woman on vacation with an outdoor adventure group. He saves her life, and begins to fall in love with her. He follows her to Singapore, and it is there that he dscovers his own truth. Great cast- Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Rekha, and Naseeruddin Shah. Definitely worth seeing.

Krrish is a Bollywood superhero movie, and it's the sequel to a movie I haven't seen. You don't really need to see the original movie to enjoy Krrish, either. The story is your basic superhero tale. There's not much that's highly original about Krrish, but when you get down to... read more it, how many superhero movies are original? Does it matter if you're having a good time while eating popcorn?

Krrish's biggest problem, at least for a western audience, is that it's really long. There's some fairly cool action but the movie is very leisurely paced up until the final 20 minutes or so. Krishna doesn't even become Krrish until almost the last hour.

That said, Krrish is a better superhero movie than quite a few of the superhero flicks I've seen coming out of Hollywood in the last few years. It's relentlessly colorful, upbeat for the most part, and kept a smile on my face. Not a small feat for a three hour film.

better than the first. good songs, i love the kahani song. good acting. still a ludicrous story, especially his long lost dad bit. completely illogical! i think it reminded me of every superhero film i ever saw, spiderman, batman, superman, ect. too bad they have to copy so much,... read more it would have been better if he were more original, but i guess they make do.

This is one of the most entertaining movies I've ever seen. It's about 2 and 1/2 hours long, but you really don't notice because (as I said) it's very entertaining. I love the scenes in the film where Krishna pretends to be a ghost, they're very funny. This movie also has a p... read morelot twist at the end that I didn't see coming. Very good!

A young man with superhuman powers doubles as Krrish, a masked hero, in a Bollywood sequel that blends carefree romance, show-stopping action and sci-fi.

Succeeds mainly because of its hell-for-leather exuberance.

It's a minor joy to see a film so ingenuous as this, plainly wearing its corporate sponsorship on its sleeve. Full Review
