Lovely! A tribute to the classic 60's play "Joseph and Amazing the Technicolor Dreamcoat" with Donny Osmond; he is the ultimate Joseph! There are nice appearances by Joan Collins and Richard Attenborough. The narrator, Maria Freidman, is a sweet lady who articulates the story nic... read moreely along.

There are great catchy songs, done in different musical genres (western, opera, rock, orchestral...)

The sound mix is odd; some of the voices on the recording do not come through loud enough; and it's not just my copy or home theatre setup! I noticed they also did not include the mega-mix dance finale on the filmed version unfortunately.

There are lots of bright colors - partially blame the coat! The sets are great too, going much deeper and wider than a school stage. I loved the framing device of a auditorium performance; it really brings it back to its roots.

I remember our school doing this musical when I was in grade 4. I also remember seeing this live in Edmonton with Donny on stage.

Very good musical production of the story of Joseph from the bible.....Donny Osmond is perfectly cast as the young man who is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers but is eventually blessed beyond measure and put in a place of great authority. Donny is cute, buff, and his si... read morenging and acting are awesome! I really was pleasantly surprised. The only thing a little disappointing was I was hoping my Grandkids could watch it but there were some VERY revealing costumes and a few scenes not quite appropriate for them....bummer.

Not the best production of this musical, but the songs are still very fun and the visuals are memorable.

I like this musical a lot; I've seen it on the stage twice. It's just really fun, and despite the Mrs. Potiphar scene (which we just fast-forward through) it's really good. Just cool music and everything.
