Not a joy ride. Void of creepers unless you count the one in the title. Don't get on board only unless you can't find nothing else to entertain you.

Started off quite nicely actually, but about a third of the way through it drops off dramatically. Dreadful script, annoying characters, and a weak ending...Not the worst movie I've ever seen, there are certainly some things I enjoyed since I did finish the film, but not a good h... read more

The Cat Lady: That's not my scarecrow.
"Fear takes a road trip."
First off, I should start by saying that every negative thing that has been said about Jeepers Creepers is totally justified. The characters are stupid(even by the genres standards), the movie tapers off after a ... read more -

Justin Long has his fair share of detractors, and I'm sure that there are even those who enjoy his acting, but even the most dedicated Justin Long fan will have to admit in his heart-of-hearts that his performance in "Jeepers Creepers" stinks. Long bears the expression of a todd... read more

October 16, 2011fb729949618Just like the synopsis says, this movie had a promising start. I actually really liked it until the end when the monster got too sci-fi for his own good and killed the movie.

Freaky. Took me a while to be able to get past the bit were he is about to look down the dark black tunnel. Eventually I did and I was extremeley frightened. Horrifying.

If anything comes out with an original idea these days, I must give it an honorable mention. "Jeepers Creepers" has a quality to it with it's somewhat makeshift production and eerie premise. However, when I say makeshift, I don't mean there is necessarily anything of interest lef... read more

Jeepers Creepers is a very different Horror film than what we are used to. Director Victor Salva creates a horror film with a unique monster, The Creeper, a boogeyman type of monster. The film is very intense, and terrifying, it brings elements of old school horror and the cast h... read more

The story is pretty unique (not the killing part that shows that the monster doesn't die no matter how hard you try). I must admit that It was very frightening. I enjoyed the conversation between the brother and the sister. Loads of slang that will make you laugh a bit. But the a... read more
Critic Reviews
The plotting is a tad generic, and the film feels long at a scant 90 minutes. But the movie is good enough to put a chill into the late-summer air. Full Review
Jeepers Creepers is better setting things up than following through. It must resort to psychic mumbo-jumbo that has to be played straight and doesn't work. Full Review
The first half of Jeepers Creepers is truly effective. Full Review
The only mystery to Jeepers Creepers is why Francis Ford Coppola chose to stamp his name on this grade-Z movie as producer.
It's nice to walk out of a celluloid house of terror without feeling all cut up inside for a change. Full Review
Jeepers Creepers might have a stylishly sinister look, but the goods are rudimentary. Full Review
Unlike the recent horror films Session 9 and The Others, there's nothing remotely ambitious or imaginative in Jeepers Creepers.
A clever thriller-chiller combining laughter with creepiness that should satisfy horror fans looking for a late-summer diversion. Full Review
It's a shame that Salva so suddenly and permanently leaves the suggestive territory of the movie's first third.
