This remake of the 1953's sci-fi classic, about the boy who sees the Martians landing, is so true to the original that it is extraordinary exciting.

Cool little movie that made me believe that if your clever enough you can make a difference even if your a kid.

Bad acting and idiotic special effects combine in this remake of the original. Even Laraine Newman's assuming the voice of Connie Conehead at the end didn't help me. May I never see this again.

In it's day, this was a very scary, at least to a young boy. More body snatching alliens in this one. Excellent cinematography and great but simple sets.

I am kind of surprised that Tobe Hooper would delve into science fiction. This wasn't much about story telling though as it was special effects and puppetry. I remember loving this when I was younger, but I look at it now and I am just disappointed.

Certainly not the tense film it set out to be, but kind of fun nonetheless. The robust 'potato-head-like' creatures are nothing short of entertaining.

A well done remake of the black and white original. The revamp of the aliens and their weapons was a welcome change to the campy old version.
