Another great foreign film that I'd watch over (almost) any domestic film any day. Good performances, witty and quirky dialogue, and well-timed direction make this road-odyssey a must see

Mar 2011 - Pretty shallow romantic comedy. The characters are exaggerated in an unpleasant way and I found the view of the romance and the role east was playing a bit insulting.

I like it very much, and it has it good parts. I like the part that when Daniel tries to jump Danube river with the car when you know he is not going to make it. This a good romance comedy.
Critic Reviews
Instead of avoiding the genre's conventions, the effervescent German film revels in them, resulting in a picture so infectious it almost seems original. Full Review
A small but charming romance.
[Akin] allows his madcap chases and travel montages to go on too long. Full Review
Sometimes forced, but nearly as charming as it tries to be, which is very. Full Review
The romance is always too close to knockabout farce to allow any variations in the formula. Full Review
Never less than breezily entertaining.
