    A just portryal and an involving documentary about one of the greatest and most fascinating characters of the twentieth century.

    A great documentary about John Lennon, showcasing his career before, during, and after the Beatles up until his death in 1980. It is interesting to see so much of Lennon's personal life, much of the footage was shot when Lennon was still alive, and has a lot of narration from th... read moree man himself. I don't really know why he was shooting so much footage, but it is actually quite fascinating that he did, as it really gives us a in depth look into his life before he was shot.

    Not to spoil the ending, but John Lennon gets shot. The cool thing about this documentary is that it's narrated by the deceased John Lennon by means of previous interview excerpts. I was a big Beatles and John Lennon fan when this movie came out and it was great. I've seen it aga... read morein recently, and it didn't quite hit me the same as when I was 18, but it's still a great film for any fan of John Lennon.

    this movie was kinda stupid. it was about his life sure, but really sketchy and random. there was no narrotar even tho john is credited for it... totally left out some of his biggest songs in his solo career; working class hero, instant karma, serve yourself. three perfect themes... read more for a john lennon movie on this 3 songs. to justify lennons greatness, they really half assed it here.
