Ice Age isn't anything you've never seen before but it has memorable characters and enough comic spunk to entertain the whole family. The CGI is really crisp and detailed and is more colourful than more recent animated films.

Let's start with my favorite animated movie quote, shall we? Sid: "From now on, you shall refer to me only as 'Lord of the Flames'." Manny: "Hey, 'Lord of the Flames'--your tail's on fire." ICE AGE is like SHREK in a frozen journey, where Manny is Shrek and Sid is Donkey. Scr... read more

I know FX really ran the hell out of this one, but this was a really fun little movie. It's meant to be for families, but it seems more for everybody if you ask me. It's a lot of fun and has a lot of replay value...which is maybe why it's always being repeated on tv. Unfortunatel... read more

Real Ice Ages were no jokes. They lasted about 100,000 years and froze most life on the planet. But as long as Leguizamo's Sid and Wedge's Scrat are on screen, this one warms you with laughter. Full Review
It's simply a fun, silly comedy, but then what's wrong with that?
Yet another marvelously funny digital-animation feature. Full Review
Ice Age won't drop your jaw, but it will warm your heart, and I'm giving it a strong thumbs up. Full Review
It's clever enough to amuse adults, yet sufficiently kid-friendly to delight tykes with diminutive attention spans. Full Review
No evolutionary leap forward in the world of computer-generated animation, just another palatable, familiar children's diversion in shiny new form. Full Review
Family entertainment at its most bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
Full of visual dazzle, engaging characters and a reasonably sprightly narrative. Full Review
