Hip Hop duo Kid & Play return in the second follow-up to their 1990 screen debut House Party. Kid (Christopher "Kid" Reid) is taking the plunge and marrying his girlfriend Veda (Angela Means), while h... read more read more...is friend Play (Christopher Martin) is dipping his toes into the music business, managing a roughneck female rap act called Sex as a Weapon. Play books the ladies for a concert with heavy-hitting promoter Showboat (Michael Colyar), but when they decide to fire Play and hire a new manager, he has to figure out how to deliver them to the show or face the wrath of Showboat's female security force. Play is also in charge of arranging Kid's bachelor party, but while he's setting up a bash to end all bashes, he discovers that his three younger cousins have just arrived in town, and Kid's former flame Sydney (Tisha Campbell) has shown up hoping to put a halt to the upcoming nuptials.     Bernie Mack makes an appearance and steals every scene he was in. Other than that this series is a little played out at this point.

    This movie just shows how fucking hillarious Bernie Mac was....RIP brohter. the rest of the movie sucks. I love the first House Party though good comedy

    House Party 3 to me was a disapointment. The jokes, just weren't there.
    It's A Shame as the first film was great. My advice is just stay with the first film.

    There are some entertaining moments, but it is just too often stupid with crude humor and usually it?s not very funny. The performances are pretty good but with such a poor screenplay it doesn?t much matter.

    Bernie Mac is awesome in this flick. The dinner party at the in-laws is the best fight scene (verbal). If u haven't seen it do so now!

    Watered down version of House Party 2. 2 was a watered down version of the first one. This still has parts that are decent it's just that it gets kinda corny and slap stickish. Bernie Mac is funny. Martin Lawrence didn't make it into this movie. (he got too famous)
