    I actually sat down with this one thinking that it was a re-watch, but I honestly couldn't recall anything about it beyond the basic set-up, which I may've read elsewhere, or just be remembering from the various incarnations of the show.

    It's never all that scary, but it does ma... read moreke great use of the spooky Gothic locations and invites you into a creepy scenario for some classic horror tropes.

    Worth a peep.

    Wow, what a total disappointment! The movie is too quickly paced, disallowing the eerieness that Dark Shadows the show had, which accumulated over time; not only that, but the plot follows the boring old horror motif where nearly everyone dies. The language was harsher than the s... read morehow; the blood was graphic and garrulous. It's also too in-you-face as opposed to creepy and subtle. What happened guys?
