Posie (Daniella Alonso) is a nice girl who turns mean when a gang of thugs murder her mother. Posie swears revenge against the gangsters, but isn't sure what to do until she encounters a member of the undead (Danny Trejo) who gives her some lessons in bloodthirsty behavior. Next, Tex Woods Jr. (Anson Mount) is a ugly-spirited Southerner who claims ownership of a house belonging to his father after the old man dies at Tex's hands. Tex and his wife, Tiffany (Brande Roderick), waste no time in evicting a handful of impoverished war veterans who were friendly with Tex's dad, but he pushes them too far and Roscoe (Ernie Hudson) leads the former soldiers in a shocking act of revenge. And finally, a rapper who has betrayed most of his friends on the way up gets his just deserts on the way down. They remind me of an anthology novel I wrote when maybe 10 (well I c... read moreonsidered it a novel) called Curse of the Werewolf. Looking back on it, they were gory as hell, but written by a ten year old idjit. Still it was just a little worse written than this.

The animated parts are really slick and stylistically done, and the two first stories are pretty... read more good. Great appearances by Danny Trejo and Ernie Hudson, it's really hard not to like them in something, it also has "Jungle Julia", from DEATH PROOF in it, but the final story is stupid as hell, despite the appearance of Diamond Dallas Page, who actually does and terrible job, and Snoop doing and rap song to sume up what you just saw, it leaves a really bad taste in your mouth and makes you feel like this movie was a just a silly piece of shit. So if you go to watch this movie, turn it off after the second story, you'll enjoy it a hell of a lot more and it will only take under an hour of your time.

    snoop dogg's hood of horror is a great horror film that is kind of like other horror films like creepshow, , tales from the darkside, and tales from the crypt in of course the hood this is a great horror film which it has a great throwback to the tales of terror horror films l... read moreike creepshow great horror film with some great cool but creepy death scenes the film contains three tales the film stars rapper snoop dogg who plays a great storyteller in this film, ernie hudson (the crow, ghostbusters ghostbusters 2 and the hand that rocks the cradle) brande roderick (dracula II acesnion) danny trejo (halloween and the devils rejects) billy dee williams (the ladies man and the lady that sings the blues) jason alexander (seinfeild and shallow hal) a lin shaye the wife of new line exective robert shaye and aries spears (mad TV) the film is very interesting and enjoyable to see even though the copany that had did this film has made not really any known films like pentienary 1 & 2 and the original 1980's cult fim inglourious basterds not the tarrantino version this is a great horror film great gore even though this film is not well known I recommed that you should to this film this is film that I highly recommend for any horror fan and the film has great animation to the film that I was surprised that it was added to the film it is a great horror film the film was only in limited release when it had released on 5/4/2007 this a great horror movie hidden gem that is a must see and I also recommend bones another great horror film with snoop dogg this is a great horror film with creepy tales that I do not want to spoil highly recommended.

    I didn't know if I would like this movie or not, beacuse I didn't like Bones and was afraid that they would be along the same lines, but I was wrong and this one was so good! I liked the three different stories and how they added animation to it also which made it fun. It had ple... read morently of gore which was nice and it was funny at the same time. I loved watching Snoop Dogg even though he wasn't in it as much as I would have liked. Still a great movie to see.

    Pretty good movie. I only watched it because it was on FEARnet and was an extra horror fest film. The last story was the best one. The movie was the gangsterish, but it was good.

    This was horrible. The anime sequernces were cool and if they would have kept that through the whole movie, this would have been better. But with the quality fo the cast, they could have had better production values. Snoop is so charismatic, how can you not like this guy? Sno... read moreop fits right in here.
