Not bad for a dance film fitting in around the hip-hop scene. It has a good cast, some good dance scenes but not with any real wow factor. Unfortunately it becomes all a bit predictable and it's not as dramatic as I think they hoped for. It's no Save the last dance, but still not... read more

Such an inspirational film. The soundtrack was amazing and the ending of the film couldn't help but make you smile. Full of positivity and really motivates you. It wasn't a bad film for Jessica Alba to start with at all.

The star-is-born trajectory nourishes some howlers ... as well as a thumpingly unsubtle portrayal of the creative process. Full Review
There's an entertainingly ludicrous movie lurking somewhere inside of the ludicrous, mediocre one this actually is. Full Review
Honey's a little too darling for reality.
Flavorless blender-mix of dance movie cliches draws from the stagnant well of everything from Flashdance to Save the Last Dance. Full Review
Cheerful, unlikely and featherweight, Honey is nevertheless charmingly optimistic and refreshingly earnest. Full Review
Honey invites us, not to share in a character's journey, but to have an audience with one young woman's physical and spiritual loveliness. That's not just bogus, it's boring. Full Review
Jessica Alba adds the soothing honey to Honey. Full Review
