It's an average romantic comedy movie and also a farce and a screwball comedy. Monica Potter and Freddie Prinze Jr. had good on-screen chemistry. But, unfortunately for Freddie Prinze Jr., while he was good, it was the females, in this movie that stole the sh... read more

December 13, 2011fb100000185301014Trying to hard to make it a successful comedy, the plot was just ridiculous, could be seen as 2 irrelevant movies, toilet humor was over used, acting was really bad, only watch it if you are bored

This was actually a very hilarious comedy for me. It was a bit cheesy, but alot of hilarious scenes throughout the movie. Made me laugh especially with Freddie's bathroom scene! lol...Monica Potter and Freddie Prince, Jr. are very cute in this amusing movie. :D I liked it alot.

Critic Reviews
Head Over Heels may bear some superficial resemblance to a movie, but don't be fooled -- it's really just a marketing strategy, a loose assemblage of components each pitched to a particular demographic. Full Review
Kerplunkingly unfunny and -- despite Potter's Julia Roberts-ish smile and ditz shtick -- charmless.
All that's lacking is anything remotely resembling wit or style.
The film's strenuous play for laughs tends to overshadow its assets. Full Review
Just another bland, fair-to-middling vehicle for two emerging, fledgling stars. Full Review
With each rewrite, it seems, things grew fouler, duller and more idiotic. Full Review
It feels like a movie some other actress rejected -- you can almost see Sandra Bullock using the screenplay manuscript as a coffee coaster. Full Review
Light stuff, the cinematic equivalent of the airy wax paper that separates cold cuts on a delicatessen scale. Full Review
