Not bad of a movie. She's so badass! :P Great cast, especially Fassbender and McGregor :P. Channing Tatum's acting abilities were on the lacking side as usual...

A decent watch. Makes me miss the Bourne series all the more. But Soderbergh brought his panache for sure. Hated the soundtrack. Sounded like Ocean's 11 half of the time. Gina did a bang up job, in my book. This was a movie for the fight scenes.

    Strange but worth a look

Great action, great cast, and great use of music too bad the story was dull. Soderbergh knows how to shoot action, but the guy is also a great writer, and I wish he would mix the two. Maybe if he would spend more than a month developing, shooting, and editing films he could settl... read moree down and do one great film once in awhile. He doesn't make bad films, but he doesn't great ones either, they are all rush jobs. This film was a lot of fun at times, but I guess I got greedy and wanted more.

I was pretty shocked in the first fight scene, when I was drinking my cup of black coffee and Channing Tatum suddenly emptied his own cup on Gina Carano's face and then started a nasty brutal fight, well choreographed, because it looks realistic and painful. The story wasn't reve... read morealed until the final minutes, and it was just your ordinary secret service agents betraying one another, but it was not basically leaning into its actions but rather to its style, thanks to its director Steven Soderbergh, he made this action-thriller a watchable one. I gave the fight scenes multiple claps, because it was managed well.

One of the best films of 2012 so far....It's premise is basic backstabbing intrigue: a government agent seeks revenge over being framed for the murder of a journalist. This rogue agent isn't your Tom Cruise or Daniel Craig type. It's one really tough bitch who takes no prisoners.... read more Gina Carano kicks major ass! Aside from the film's plot sounding all too familiar it still has that texture of something you might've seen from the early 70s or 80s. There's a Tarantino flare about the whole film as well, but this is Soderbergh's shining moment (which is good too because the Ocean films were really dull). It's nice to see him re-team with Lem Dobbs (the writer of Haywire as well as The Limey). They both work well in a unique style and should keep working together on more projects like this.

Last but not least the fight scenes. So far this is the best film in 2012 with some really great fight scenes!

Don't know where the lead came from...She isn't that cute, but man she can kick ass. However, that is about all that this movie had was ass kicking and some killing. At times it was slow and at one point I found myself nodding off, but some good old fashion hand to hand brought... read more me back around. Drama this was not, action and adventure it sort was...More action than adventure. Mystery and suspense, forget it...There was not mystery, only an idiot wouldn't catch the plot here and suspense; really - how about not. Let's just give it a solid E for effort.

I loved the cinematography and sound design. A couple of the actions sequences are very well done. Soderbergh's shot selection is, as always, unique and stylized. However, the film's narrative is overly complicated and, at times, approaches being incoherent. You are able to ... read morepiece the puzzle together but not at a pace that keeps you engaged in the story. If it weren't for the gorgeous way the film is shot, Haywire would be bring nothing new or interesting to a cliche plot.
