Very laughable samurai movie. Do not expect an action samurai movie, otherwise you'll be very disappointed. Although you might be even more surprised by the movie itself.
Despite a whimsical approach to the material, Koreeda allows too many scenes to drag and too many themes to repeat. Full Review
