Half Baked was one of the first stoner comedies that I have seen, and though since then, I've seen a lot of the films in this comedy sub genre, Half Baked still remains a fun comedy classic. Dave Chappelle makes this film fun to watch, and the other actors starring opposite him a... read more

Dave Chapelle is the king when it comes to stoner comedy. I love all his stand-ups and the show he had on Comedy Central. As for this movie, it ain't too bad either. Some of the timing is a little off in places, and the script could have used some brush-ups, but all in all, it's ... read more

May 30, 2011fb733768972This is, hands down, one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen, but I can say that it had me laughing my ass off a few times. It's a stoner episode of The Chappelle's Show. Not a classic, but still memorably funny in it's own right.

So funny! "But I'm Cuban, B." "YES, Cuban B!"
As far as pot comedies go, it's got just enough laughs to warrant a visit. Full Review
Winningly stupid comedy, with the emphasis on stupid.
seems half-produced, with a grainy, unattractive look and bargain-basement special-effects that ruin some good ideas. Perhaps the filmmakers blew their budget on the slew of guest stars who pop up bri... Full Review
The definitive stoner's anthem film. Chapelle is hilarious and charismatic. Great celebrity cameos help keep the uneven script afloat. (Best served fully baked). Full Review
Half-Baked wants to be a classic moronic movie, but it's just too stupid to achieve that goal. Full Review
The film, in spite of any plot, is one sketch after another, some of which fall flat, some of which fall flatter. Full Review
The filmmakers forgot to come up with more than one joke, and the one that they do have isn't very funny. Full Review
