A dazzling, sweet and ofter remarkable comedy. Groundhog Day presents a criative screenplay, with a good direction and great actings; what makes a lovely movie that still make all laugh and cheer. One of the rares romantic comedys that enjoy me. Fresh.

Such a warm hearted film that teaches you that there's more to life than your job. The cast was good (with the exception of a few bad Rita scenes). The story was mostly unpredictable and kept twisting and turning. Good script, I especially like how they didn't start every new day... read more

[Murray] carries Groundhog Day with his uniquely frittery nonchalance and makes the movie a comic time warp anyone should be happy to get stuck in. Full Review
Ramis' direction is often too cool and restrained. He wisely avoids playing into the tale's underlying sentimentality. Full Review

Mr. Murray is back in top form with a clever, varied role that draws upon the full range of his talents.
Groundhog will never be designated a national film treasure by the Library of Congress. But, in terms of vehicle selection, this is one of the better ones Murray has hitched himself to. Full Review
This movie has all the qualities necessary to be a crowd-pleaser: likable characters, charismatic performers, a strong, capably-executed premise, and lots of laughs. Full Review
