At the time, skateboarding was a big thing. Now tony hawk is no cooler than david blaine.

I really did want to like this movie if only because of Joey Kern but it seriously was bad. Save Joey, the acting is pretty horrendous and the storyline was rather weak (which is saying a lot coming from me b/c I'm usually pretty tolerable when it comes to plot). This is truly ... read more

Loved it. Its actually pretty bad and stupid, but there is something about it that is just so tasty and good.

Overcomes its weak structure thanks to the easy chemistry between the cast and some good skateboarding action.

I liked this movie, I used to love skater kid. It was funny seeing Ryan Sheckler in it as a 12 year old. Mike Vogel is also very hot.

This is just a fun movie. It reminds me of some of the fun times I've had with friends on road trips.
This movie makes me laugh, it has hot skater guys in it & Bam Margera. That's a win/win for me. -

Some of the skateboarding scenes were pretty cool and TOm Green made a cameo. If you dont like skateboarding then dont bother

A logo-laden celebration of the joys of sponsorship wrapped inside an innocuous teen-pic package. Full Review
I think actually guys and women, who love skateboarding, probably won't like this movie because it doesn't do it justice-the skill it really takes to be at the top of the game. Full Review
About 65 minutes of plot and 30 of slow-mo skating highlights, rather obviously performed by professionals dressed as the characters.
Attempts to combine the extreme sports visuals of a good Warren Miller ski film with the plot of a bad Tom Green picture and doesn't come close to landing on four wheels. Full Review
It looks like junk and even the few laughs there are feel like junk laughs.
