February 6, 2008This movie's one of those rare occasions where every aspect of the film is given an equal pace and even has a strong and interesting female lead. But it's undermined by a needlessly complex story.

April 18, 2007Another fun entry in the Godzilla series. Megaguirus, despite being a flawed monster in terms of SFX, is still pretty cool and very nasty. Loved the bit with the dragonflies and Godzilla is great as always.

November 6, 2008Quite possibly the first Godzilla film I've seen in its entirety (aside from the American version that everyone hates), and what can I say?
It was on cable, had bad effects and dubbing, the wife and I were fairly amused by it.
A good call for rental or cable. -
August 18, 2008Actually one of the best Godzilla movies I've seen! :) The special effects that the synopsis dubs as 'dodgy' weren't nearly as bad as the clearly visible strings hoisting Megaguirus aloft. But there are more than enough good effects in the movie to make up for the bad ones.
