January 26, 2012fb677587177I don't mind a cheesy movie once in a while, and I love drag queens, so I expected to like this. I was very, very wrong. The acting is terrible; so bad, in fact, that it ruins the movie entirely. I couldn't sit through it.

Hilarious, vulgar camp from three of the top female impersonators in the biz. Though lagging at times, this wrong-on-almost-every-level comedy keeps the laughs coming fast and furious. 'Astro-physi-cist!'

u don't have to be a drag queen to like this movie...yes a low budget and a little cheesy at times but still a good watch...the "girls" were great

I tried to get into this--really I did...but I was simply not amused--and I typically go for "alternative" movies. after the main character (a drag queen playing a female) confeses to getting multiple abortions so she can flirt w/ her doctor, i turned it off

Girls Will Be Girls is gross-out camp, much like the movies of John Waters. Full Review
In just observing and accurately reproducing women's facial expressions and physical gestures, the men create a wonderfully absurd spectacle. Full Review
To appreciate Girls Will Be Girls to the max, it probably helps to have taken at least one semester of Screen Camp 101. Full Review
The film is appropriately cynical, pleasantly camp and just fresh enough to be funny more often than not. Full Review
A badly written attempt at a John Waters-style celebration of vulgar humor starring three drag queens.
What starts out amusing eventually becomes something of a drag. Full Review
