What a wonderful, sweet, inspiring story! I've always felt that a good movie is even that much better when it's a true story! I really enjoyed this one. Cuba Gooding Jr. was so good!

An amazing story about lifes ups and downs. Proves you can accomplish anything once you set your mind to it. Cuba Gooding Jr. is exellent as Dr. Carlson. This is an exellent moving considering it was "made for TV".

Wow! What an amazing story of overcoming lifes hurdles and achieving GREATNESS! Ben Carson had an amazing mother that kept him on the path!

The film is poorly constructed and jolts the viewer through time at a thoughtless pace. Badly directed and overacted but it does have a well meaning message, even if it is clobbered over the viewers heads.
