April 21, 2012fb100000145236770Growing up, I read a lot of comics. Mostly Marvel(DC just kinda sucks compared to Marvel), but I never really read "Ghost Rider" much. I knew of it, and had read one or two, but really never cared much for the character. But anytime a Marvel movie comes out, I gotta watch it. ... read more

This really is modern day cgi crap, the whole thing is very weak, no balls about it and some dreadful dreadful effects that look laughable seeing as its a major release. Aimed at the teens it lacks any grit or realism and even worse...it looks plastic and tacky.
There isn't rea... read more -

A special effects laden extravaganza w/o (if you'll excuse the pun) much of a soul, like many "big" movies nowadays. Everyone does a competent job (except maybe the writers) only who cares? Maybe the adolescent market this is aimed for ... ?

Ghost Rider is essentialy why I dont like super hero movies. You get Nicolas Cage, a very talented actor not being able to do what he does best. Create thrills and excitement for his audience. Ghost Rider was steaming. A steaming pile of crap.

Okay, I'm just going to level here, don't expect a good plot from this movie. I mean, it's decent, but not great, basic premise is the devil kidnapped Ghost Rider's (Johnny Blaze) girlfriend and now he needs to fight the demons and save her, that's pretty much it. It does have a ... read more

I am a huge Ghost Rider fan. I honestly believe he's one of the coolest heroes out there. That said, this is the biggest dissapointment to a Ghost Rider, Mark Steven Johnson and Eva Mendes fan I've ever seen. The fight scenes are horrible, the special affects are something out of... read more

Ghost Rider is not a terrible movie, but many terrible things happen in it. The plot was not very fun, I saw it about a month ago and i alkready have forgotten it, it never is able to go the full step when it tells a story. The actors were okay, i'm a big fan of Nicholas Cage b... read more

Ghost Rider is one of the biggest, most disappointing super hero film that I have seen along with X-Men The Last Stand. Ghost Rider is one of the worst super hero films as well. What's really sad about the film is that it the potential in being something truly unique, but sadly, ... read more

So much flatter than it was on the comic-book page. Full Review
Provides just enough pop thrills and slam-bang action to make it perfectly acceptable matinee fare. Full Review
The story doesn't arc so much as unspool like a stretch of desert highway, but the Ghost Rider is such a powerful amalgam of hot-rod iconography that this is still fairly watchable. Full Review
The blank, frenetic exhaustion of the final reel acts like a kid who tries to snap out of a candy-binge coma by snorting lines of Pixy Stix. Full Review
Rarely in Hollywood have so many labored so hard with so much time and such financial resources to fill a movie screen with as vast an array of spiritual gibberish, literary poppycock and pure flummer... Full Review
It's not quite a thrill ride but it isn't a total embarrassment for Cage. It's certainly no worse than Wicker Man, which depicted the actor chasing hippie chicks in a bear suit. Full Review
Surprised as I am to concede it, Ghost Rider smokes. Full Review
Is the world ready for a flaming Nicolas Cage? Full Review
The real evil in this flick isn't Blackheart (Wes Bentley), the devil's son, it's the soul-sucking devil of modern cinema: Hollywood formula.
